Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dillard swivels and escapes.
No joy there for Reeves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reeves misses with a body shot.
Reeves gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dillard to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dillard tries to free his leg and advance position but Reeves is retaining full guard.
Reeves controls Dillard momentarily but Dillard frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillard drops back looking for a leg! Reeves is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reeves manages to kick Dillard off! Dillard jumps back into Reeves's guard.
Reeves is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

enabling Dillard to counter with a crisp jab.
Dillard avoids the head kick by Reeves.

Dillard is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Reeves looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dillard gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Reeves is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dillard lets go of the hold and Reeves can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kirk Dillard!
