Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Farnsworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alberto Alves!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves moves out of range as Farnsworth throws a body kick.
Alves looks to land a combination but Farnsworth avoids it well.
Farnsworth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alves scores with a jab to the body.
Alves looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alberto Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Alves wants to stand and escape but instead Farnsworth has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Farnsworth is standing up over Alves. Alves looks to escape but Farnsworth dives into side control.
Alves is looking to regain half guard here but Farnsworth keeps moving and retains side control.
Alves is trying to control Farnsworth's posture but Farnsworth avoids it.
Alves is trying to work for a sweep but Farnsworth has mounted him!
Farnsworth prevents Alves from getting the reversal.
Farnsworth sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Alves is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Farnsworth trying to control but Alves is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farnsworth with a couple of short strikes.
Farnsworth prevents Alves from getting the reversal.
Alves tries to hold on but Farnsworth postures up.
Alves is squirming around, avoiding Farnsworth's attempts to control the action.
Alves is desperately trying to improve his position but Farnsworth has a good base and remains in mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Farnsworth is breathing heavily.
Alves sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Alves wants to get back to his feet.
Farnsworth decides to stand up.
Alves feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Farnsworth wants to get back to his feet but Alves is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Alves wants to control from the top but Farnsworth keeps moving.
Alves throws a strike but Farnsworth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alves has his feet on Farnsworth's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Alves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alves.
Farnsworth tries a head kick but it misses.
Xavier Farnsworth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Farnsworth throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely.
Farnsworth drops Alves with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Alves! Farnsworth dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
