Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johny Pucko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Terror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johny Pucko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Terror!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terror tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pucko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pucko misses with a head kick.
Terror stalks Pucko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pucko's face. Pucko staggers backwards, shaken.
Terror should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Terror rushes Pucko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Terror unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pucko lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Pucko tries for a takedown but Terror manages to get underhooks.

Terror manages to break the clinch.

Terror changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pucko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Terror is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pucko has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pucko wants to control but Terror postures up.
Terror really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pucko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Terror advances to full mount.

Terror moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pucko has worked his arm free - good work by Pucko!
Pucko regains half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Pucko manages to get to full guard.
Pucko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pucko working for a triangle but Terror defends it easily.
Terror trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pucko controls Terror momentarily but Terror frees himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Pucko feints and as Terror raises his hands in defense, Pucko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pucko wants to control from the top but Terror keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pucko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Pucko works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Terror wants to get back to full guard.
Pucko is looking to take a break and control but Terror is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Terror moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Terror controls Pucko momentarily but Pucko frees himself.

Pucko passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Pucko tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Terror is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pucko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Terror keeping hold of Pucko's head, controlling as best he can.
Pucko moves nicely into side control.
Pucko working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Pucko throws an elbow but Terror slips to the side and avoids it well.
Terror tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pucko wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pucko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Terror knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Terror can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Terror tries to buck Pucko off but Pucko is having none of it.
Terror wants to control but Pucko postures up.
Terror is looking to regain half guard here but Pucko keeps moving and retains side control.
Terror is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pucko is controlling him well.
Terror tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pucko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Terror's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A nice inside leg kick there by Terror. That's going to slow Pucko down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pucko misses with a takedown attempt
and Terror counters with a straight right hand.
Terror shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pucko as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pucko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Terror counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pucko's guard now.
Pucko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Terror sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pucko's guard.
Pucko slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Terror pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pucko is keeping the position for now.
Pucko manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Terror manages to get himself to full guard.

Pucko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Terror has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pucko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pucko is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Terror is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Pucko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pucko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Terror is keeping the position for now.

Terror looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pucko stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Terror throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Terror has picked Pucko up - he's going for a ride! Terror dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Well, if Terror is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Terror slips a nice elbow through Pucko's hands, connecting with Pucko's forehead.

Terror wants to work for an arm triangle but Pucko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Terror blocks the strikes from Pucko.
Terror prevents Pucko from improving his position.
Pucko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Terror wants to pass to mount but Pucko is defending the position.
Pucko is looking to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Terror scores with a push kick.

Pucko keeps the fight on the outside.

Pucko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Terror wants to get back to full guard.

Terror is looking to escape.
Pucko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Terror!
Pucko is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Terror is in real trouble.

Johny Pucko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Terror prevents Pucko from getting a body triangle.
Pucko is landing with strikes from the back.
Terror rolls, trying to escape but Pucko keeps control of the position.

Terror defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Pucko's arms.
Terror is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Pucko off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Terror tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Pucko wants to control the pace but Terror is squirming around nicely.
Terror slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Terror is trying to stand back up but Pucko is controlling him
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Terror won't allow Pucko to pass to mount.
Pucko moves nicely into side control.

Pucko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Pucko has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Terror is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pucko yanks on the arm and Terror is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pucko.
