Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Human Cyborg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurent Gardan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardan has chosen "Know your enemy" - RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cyborg tries to clinch there but Gardan circles away.
Cyborg lands a nice shot that snaps Gardan's head back.
Gardan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cyborg throws a shot from downtown. Gardan moves away and avoids it.

Cyborg cracks Gardan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The fighters circling - Cyborg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Cyborg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gardan throws the left hand but Cyborg avoids the punch easily.

Cyborg looks to land a left hand but Gardan moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Cyborg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Nice uppercut lands for Cyborg. That snapped Gardan's head back.

Gardan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cyborg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gardan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cyborg is fending him off so far but Gardan persists. Nope, Cyborg circles away and we're back to standing.

Gardan scoring well with a low kick there.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gardan throws a sloppy head kick and Cyborg moves out of range easily.
Gardan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cyborg throws a looping overhand right but Gardan ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cyborg misses with a wild body shot.
Cyborg throws a hook to the side of Gardan's head but Gardan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cyborg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gardan. That's going to slow Cyborg down.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cyborg swats away the attempt to clinch by Gardan.
Gardan jabs Cyborg right on the nose. Cyborg blinks but takes it well.
Gardan looks to land a combination but Cyborg avoids it well.
A big left from Cyborg misses.

Nice defenses there by Gardan.
Gardan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cyborg. That did some damage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cyborg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Gardan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cyborg takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Laurent Gardan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cyborg ducks under a wild hook from Gardan.

Laurent Gardan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gardan lands a front kick.
Gardan is looking to slow Cyborg down with leg kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gardan throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Laurent Gardan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gardan scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gardan tries to clinch but Cyborg moves out of range.

Gardan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cyborg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cyborg takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cyborg takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Gardan fakes the leg kick and cracks Cyborg in the body.
Gardan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Gardan shoots in but Cyborg avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gardan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cyborg.
Laurent Gardan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cyborg fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gardan cracks the inside of Cyborg's front leg.
A thudding body kick lands there by Gardan!
Laurent Gardan seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cyborg steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gardan. That one must have hurt.
And that's the end of the fight!
Laurent Gardan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gardan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
