Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leo Milani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael James!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Milani shoots and misses
and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Milani is retaining full guard.
Milani had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. James defends it easily.
James drops back looking for a leg! Milani is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Milani manages to kick James off! James jumps back into Milani's guard.
James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Milani swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Milani throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Milani with a lazy takedown attempt
and James counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
James maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Milani could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but James has cracked it and Milani is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by James!
