Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Jong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim Jong had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ned Masterson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong looks to score with a jab to the body but Masterson is just out of range.
Jong looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jong missing with a left hand there. Masterson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Masterson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Masterson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Kim Jong has been cut.
Masterson tries to clinch but Jong moves out of range.
Masterson tries to clinch there but Jong circles away.
Jong misses with a combination
and Masterson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Masterson connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Jong to the floor! Masterson dives in looking for the finish!

Jong is rocked!
Jong tries to get to full guard but Masterson has control of the leg.
Oh Jong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Masterson tries to stand and escape but Jong actually recovers to full guard.
Jong seems to have got his legs back now.
Jong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jong is looking to stand up but Masterson isn't so interested in that idea.

Masterson wants to stand but Jong has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jong wants to stand up but Masterson is controlling him.
Masterson wants to get up but he can't break Jong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jong wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Masterson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jong.
Kim Jong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jong rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Masterson counters with a two punch combo.
Masterson lands a brutal head kick. Jong looks out on his feet and Masterson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
