Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Axe Murderer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wladmir Kuzanovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wladmir Kuzanovsky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Axe Murderer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wladmir Kuzanovsky! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Murderer. A head kick from Murderer lands but Kuzanovsky takes it in his stride. Kuzanovsky takes a kick to the side of the head. Kuzanovsky avoids the head kick by Murderer.
Kuzanovsky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Murderer! Murderer is trying to escape the mount.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kuzanovsky has eaten all the pies! Kuzanovsky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Murderer is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murderer is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kuzanovsky moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Murderer has worked his arm free - good work by Murderer!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Murderer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kuzanovsky has just dragged him back down to the mat. Kuzanovsky tries for a kimura but Murderer is defending well. Kuzanovsky looks gassed! Murderer pushes Kuzanovsky away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kuzanovsky gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuzanovsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kuzanovsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Murderer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Murderer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Axe Murderer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Murderer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kuzanovsky walks forward, straight into a front kick from Murderer. Kuzanovsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Murderer is trying to escape the mount.
Kuzanovsky swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Murderer is now in Kuzanovsky's guard. A big mistake from Kuzanovsky there, giving up the dominant position! Murderer advances position into side control! Kuzanovsky is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murderer is looking to take a break and control but Kuzanovsky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Murderer tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuzanovsky is not content to let Murderer control the position. Murderer wants to stand but Kuzanovsky has his arm trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. That was a close second round but I would say that Axe Murderer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Murderer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Murderer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Murderer throws a sloppy head kick and Kuzanovsky moves out of range easily. Kuzanovsky blocks a head kick by Murderer.
Kuzanovsky takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Murderer throws a head kick that Kuzanovsky semi-blocks.
Murderer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kuzanovsky's head. Murderer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kuzanovsky closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murderer did well to prevent Kuzanovsky getting side control. Murderer wants to get back to his feet.
Kuzanovsky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kuzanovsky wants to work for an arm triangle but Murderer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuzanovsky is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Murderer wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Murderer is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuzanovsky stops Murderer from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kuzanovsky stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Murderer. Murderer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Murderer lands with a kick to the temple. Kuzanovsky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Murderer misses the shot to the body. Nice body kick from Murderer. Axe Murderer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murderer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuzanovsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Murderer. Murderer lands a head kick!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murderer lands a head kick. Kuzanovsky smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Axe Murderer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kuzanovsky takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A combination from Murderer does no damage. Murderer lands with a slapping head kick. Murderer thows a body shot but no joy. Wladmir Kuzanovsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kuzanovsky takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Murderer lands a jab. Kuzanovsky has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Murderer. Murderer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kuzanovsky crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Murderer - the referee stops the clock and Kuzanovsky gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Murderer. Kuzanovsky manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Axe Murderer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Murderer lands a head kick. Kuzanovsky smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
And that's the end of the fight! Axe Murderer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Murderer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
