Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Rocher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocher has chosen We Will Rock You as his entrance music. David Rocher looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a head kick that misses. Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Rocher. Jackson lands an elbow inside that Rocher shrugs off. Jackson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Jackson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rocher.
Nice body punch from Jackson. Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Rocher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Rocher shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Rocher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rocher takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Rocher moves out of range. Rocher takes the fight into the clinch. Jackson managing to block the knees to the body from Rocher.
Jackson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rocher.
Jackson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jackson lands an elbow inside. Jackson throws a knee to the head but misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rocher just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jackson's brow. Rocher wants a takedown but no success here.
Franklin Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Rocher.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries to break the clinch but Rocher is controlling the position. Jackson lands a hook that snaps the head of Rocher backwards. Jackson lands a damaging elbow. Jackson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rochers head. The referee calls for Rocher to work.
A short uppercut from Jackson. Rocher with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jackson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jackson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Rocher fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rocher has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment. Rocher tries a body shot but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson has Rocher pushed against the cage. Jackson tries to stall but Rocher uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jackson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Rocher moves out of range easily. Jackson is breathing heavily. Rocher closes the distance looking to clinch and Jackson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rocher really felt that one! Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Rocher. Rocher gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rocher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson regains half guard. Rocher is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rocher on the ground. Rocher trying to pass the guard but Jackson defending well. Rocher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocher trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it. Rocher is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. I looks like Rocher might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson wants to control but Rocher is keeping busy.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rocher looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rocher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Rocher closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rocher lands in his opponent's guard. Rocher wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Rocher controls from within his opponent's guard. Rocher passes Jackson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rocher is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rocher wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
Rocher passes to full mount! Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rocher avoids the attempt from Jackson to control. Jackson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rocher.
Rocher sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson blocking the ground and pound. Rocher looking to ground and pound but Jackson is blocking nicely. Rocher tries to control but Jackson wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rocher throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Rocher can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Rocher is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jackson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Rocher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Rocher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Franklin Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson throws a series of punches but Rocher moves out of range. Jackson lands a nice looking body shot.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rocher swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson scores with a nice body kick.
Rocher clinches but Jackson breaks the clinch and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rocher thinking. Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A head kick from Jackson lands but Rocher takes it in his stride. Jackson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Rocher clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Rocher.
Rocher jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Rocher around his waist. Rocher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson can't break the clinch.

Jackson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Rocher throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rocher shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense. Franklin Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Rocher. Rocher keeps the fight on the outside. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rocher. Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Rocher on that attempt. Franklin Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson tries a low kick but Rocher avoids it. Jackson scores with a jab. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rocher shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Rocher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rocher. Jackson cracks the inside of Rocher's front leg. Jackson throws a head kick but Rocher moves out of range.

Rocher chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jackson can pounce on him.

Rocher tries to clinch but Jackson moves away and Jackson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jackson throws a push kick but Rocher slaps the foot to one side. Rocher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rocher doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Rocher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Jackson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Rocher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rocher off to one side. Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rocher! Jackson is out on his feet! Rocher rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jackson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jackson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
