Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between heavy weight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brick wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). brick wall will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, heavy weight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, brick wall! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from wall. The fight stays on the outside here - weight looks like he's thinking about clinching though. wall closes this distance looking for a takedown but weight circles away. weight tries to close the distance and clinch but wall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. weight keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. heavy weight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of brick wall. weight shoots and misses and wall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. wall wants to get up but he can't break weight's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. wall is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. weight is working an open guard so wall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. wall looks gassed! weight misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. weight clinches up with wall and pushes him back against the ropes. wall manages to pull guard.

I say controlling but really, he's stalling. weight tries to free his leg and advance position but wall is retaining full guard. weight is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. weight throws a big right hand that misses. wall wants to stand and escape but weight is having none of it. weight's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. weight wants to stand but wall has a closed guard, so he can't escape. wall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as weight controls the pace. weight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. wall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst weight is controlling him. weight wants to get up but he can't break wall's closed guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. weight misses with a takedown and wall counters with a takedown into side control. weight gets back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. wall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. weight wants to control from the top but wall keeps moving. weight tries to free his leg and advance position but wall is retaining full guard. wall wants to get back to his feet but weight is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. wall with a poor takedown and weight counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! wall is staying active underneath weight, who seems content to just control the action from this position. weight working over wall with some ground and pound. wall looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that heavy weight will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. weight working a defensive guard here.
weight wants to get back to his feet but wall is in a dominant position and won't allow it. wall preventing the sweep. weight trying to control the position.
wall is fighting to break weight's control of his arms but weight is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. wall is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. weight is trying to control the position but wall postures up. weight tries to land a sweep but no joy. weight is working hard here to advance position.

wall is looking to stand up but weight won't let him. wall has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing weight to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! wall is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - weight pulls down on the head and he's put wall to sleep! This one is all over!
