Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Fanning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fanning closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fanning scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fanning thows a huge punch but Lesnar dodges it nicely.

Fanning is nestled in close to Lesnar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fanning cracks Lesnar with a big right hand but Lesnar just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Fanning connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lesnar some visible discomfort.
Fanning scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lesnar to see if he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fanning working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Fanning has hold of Lesnar's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lesnar tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fanning cranks the arm and Lesnar screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lesnar, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mike Fanning!
