And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
white throws a right hand that Kinkel ducks under and follows up with a left that Kinkel also avoids with ease.
white misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kinkel gets a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kinkel - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kinkel looking for a takedown.
Kinkel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
white wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kinkel has him pressed against the cage.
white wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kinkel tries to work over white's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kinkel tries to score a body lock takedown but white shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
white gets underhooks to prevent Kinkel's takedown attempt.

Kinkel shoots for a double leg takedown but white sprawls well. He's pushed Kinkel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kinkel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for white on the ground.

Kinkel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around white's waist but white gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kinkel off to one side.

Kinkel tries to clinch but white is having none of it.
white goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
white misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
white displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kinkel.
white jabbing away but nothing is landing.
No joy there for white, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
white keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kinkel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
