Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Richard Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Callahan. Morgan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Callahan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Morgan can pounce on him.
Morgan takes a swing at Callahan's ribcage but misses.
Callahan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Morgan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Morgan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Callahan's calf.
Callahan throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Morgan colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Callahan as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Morgan is left battered and dazed whilst Callahan and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Callahan!
