Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kurogane Gama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurogane Gama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Gailfus! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gama throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gailfus's waist but Gailfus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gama off to one side. Gailfus looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! No luck with that takedown attempt from Gama. Gama gets a takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Gama. Gama not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gama lands a nice short elbow. Gama looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gailfus can do anything to dispel that myth. Gama looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gailfus taking some punishment here, with Gama in his half guard. Gailfus is refusing to be controlled, as Gama sits in half guard. Gama seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gama trying to control the action but Gailfus is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gama is looking for a kimura but Gailfus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gama to get the leverage. Gama thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gailfus's head. Gama content to control rather than advance. Gama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gailfus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gama is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gailfus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gama fails to land with a series of punches.
Gama darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gama scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gama landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gama trying to control from half guard but Gailfus is working away. Gama drops an elbow to the side of Gailfus's head. Gama is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gailfus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ground and pound from Gama. Gama is thwarting Gailfus's attempts to control the position. Gama is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Gama trying to control from half guard but Gailfus is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gailfus is positioning himself well to prevent Gama advancing to mount. Gama landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Gailfus trying to control but Gama postures up.
Gama content to control rather than advance. Gailfus taking some punishment here, with Gama in his half guard. Gailfus has hold of Gama's hands but Gama slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gama lands a nice short elbow. Gama is looking to take a break and control but Gailfus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gama is nestled in close to Gailfus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well, if Gama is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gama is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gama in particular looking to stall. Gama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gailfus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Gama lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gama in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gailfus tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gama!
