Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seppo Seppo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matvei Burkasaev!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seppo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Seppo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Seppo shoots in for a takedown but Burkasaev shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Seppo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Burkasaev looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Burkasaev looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Burkasaev!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Seppo tries to score a body lock takedown but Burkasaev shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Burkasaev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Seppo defends it well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Seppo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burkasaev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Seppo tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Burkasaev drops back looking for a leg! Seppo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Seppo manages to kick Burkasaev off! Burkasaev jumps back into Seppo's guard.

Seppo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Seppo wants to sweep but no luck.
Burkasaev wants to get up but he can't break Seppo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Seppo has his feet on Burkasaev's thighs here. He's pushed Burkasaev off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Burkasaev screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
