Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun slips under a jab.
Horrible takedown by Gun or perhaps it was just good defense by Ewert which made him look bad.
Ewert wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ewert drops Gun with a right and a left! Ewert comes rushing in but Gun regains his composure and manages to keep Ewert in guard.
Ewert wants to get up but he can't break Gun's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ewert gets to his feet. Gun looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Ewert keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gun is rocked!
Ewert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gun.
Gun is still on wobbly legs! Can Ewert finish him?
Gun ducks under a wild hook from Ewert.
Gun seems to have recovered his senses.
Gun looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ewert lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gun. Ewert pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Ewert!
