Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chance Brisbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chance Brisbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill West! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West slips a jab and a cross from Brisbell.
A jab from West misses. A left and a right from Brisbell both land. Nice combination. A telegraphed takedown attempt from West is defended easily by Brisbell. West pushes Brisbell up against the cage in a clinch. Brisbell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brisbell is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Brisbell looking to slow down the pace here. West breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
West is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Brisbell throws out a powerful jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brisbell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brisbell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brisbell stuns West with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Brisbell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brisbell looking for a takedown here - he's got it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now West is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brisbell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst West is controlling him. Brisbell trying to keep a closed guard but West is proving a slippery customer.
Brisbell wants to stand but West is controlling the position. Brisbell throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brisbell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brisbell keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. West fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brisbell, pushing him back against the cage. Brisbell is working for takedown but West is calmly controlling the position for now. West has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Brisbell is trying to keep an underhook but West manages to get the takedown into half guard. West throws a strike but Brisbell avoids it easily and moves to full guard. West throws a big right hand that misses. West gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. West scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. West wants to control but Brisbell is keeping him busy. West misses with the ground and pound. West is putting a hurting on Brisbell here, landing some big shots from side control. West in side control, throwing shots but Brisbell defends. West thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brisbell manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! West is staying active underneath Brisbell, who seems content to just control the action from this position. West wants to control but Brisbell is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brisbell trying to control the action but West is working from the bottom. West keeping control of the position. West trying to control but Brisbell postures up.
Brisbell is keen to just control but West is a slippery customer. West pushes Brisbell off and gets back to his feet. Brisbell slaps away a takedown attempt from West, before circling back to the center of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. West doesn't succeed with the takedown and Brisbell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Chance Brisbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill West. West shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brisbell as he jumps to the side. West looks gassed! Good standup being displayed there by Brisbell as he connects with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Brisbell dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Brisbell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but Brisbell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A jab from Brisbell does it's job there. West shoots in but no luck this time. West circles away from the clinch attempt.
West shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brisbell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Brisbell has West up against the cage in a clinch.

Brisbell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and West avoids it. Brisbell pushes West back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. West can't get the takedown.
Chance Brisbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill West. Brisbell goes for a takedown attempt but West pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
West is breathing heavily. Brisbell tries to clinch but West is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. West stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and West wants it to stay on the feet. West fails to land the takedown. Brisbell shoots in but no luck this time. Brisbell rushes West and presses him up against the cage. West lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brisbell is looking to control West's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brisbell avoid being mounted? Brisbell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brisbell is trying to stand up here but West is controlling him well. Brisbell gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brisbell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. West trying to control the position from guard on top but Brisbell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. West sitting in guard here, content to control. Brisbell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for West on the ground. Brisbell wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and West is now in half guard. West winds up and cracks Brisbell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brisbell is trying is best to control the position here. Brisbell blocking the ground and pound attempt from West. West not landing any meaningful shots this time. West is trying to work for a kimura but Brisbell is defending well.
Brisbell wants to sweep but West has passed to side control! West looking to control but instead Brisbell has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. West is taking a breather. Brisbell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brisbell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. West misses with a head shot. Brisbell uses the momentum to regain guard. West wants to control from the top but Brisbell keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Brisbell dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Brisbell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. West tries to close the distance and clinch but Brisbell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brisbell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with West but West pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brisbell wants to clinch. West is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brisbell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. West has his takedown stuffed and Brisbell counters with a shoot takedown. West fights it but they end up in guard. West wants to control the position but Brisbell says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Brisbell trying to pass the guard but West defending well. West is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brisbell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed West's head. Brisbell controlling the action here. West is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. West manages to escape and get back to his feet! West has his takedown stuffed and Brisbell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Chance Brisbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill West. West takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. West shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brisbell pinned against the cage. Brisbell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A slow jab from Brisbell misses its intended target. West takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brisbell misses with a takedown and West counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brisbell wants to improve his position but West is controlling well.
West is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. West missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. West prevents Brisbell from improving his position. Bill West has got the better of the ground game so far. West passes to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brisbell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Brisbell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brisbell tries to get out of the position. Brisbell blocking the ground and pound attempt from West. Brisbell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back! West wants to control his opponent's hands but Brisbell gets his hands free. Brisbell doesn't have the hooks in and West manages to turn into his guard.
Brisbell is looking to stand up but West isn't so interested in that idea. West trying to control the position from guard on top but Brisbell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bill West has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! West has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. West won't allow Brisbell to sweep him here. West throwing strikes from guard but Brisbell blocks nicely. Brisbell working a defensive guard here.
Chance Brisbell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A jab from Brisbell finds it's way through West's defenses. Chance Brisbell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. West lands with a nice combination. Brisbell backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Chance Brisbell has been cut. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brisbell tries to clinch up. The fighters circling - West throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brisbell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that's the end of the fight! Bill West comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brisbell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
