Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miroslav Krivanec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Alvarez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miroslav Krivanec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarez misses with a wild combination.
Krivanec shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krivanec showed some decent athleticism there. Krivanec thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Alvarez to regain full guard. Alvarez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Alvarez keeping moving, preventing Krivanec from controlling successfully. Alvarez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Krivanec doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Krivanec manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Alvarez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Alvarez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krivanec defends it easily. Krivanec has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Krivanec lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krivanec keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Alvarez's head. Krivanec sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alvarez's guard. Krivanec is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alvarez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krivanec. Alvarez actively working from the bottom here. Alvarez looks gassed! Krivanec prevents Alvarez from standing back up.

Alvarez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Krivanec pulls his head out easily. Krivanec controlling the action here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Krivanec rushes Alvarez and presses him up against the ropes. A body shot lands from Krivanec.
Krivanec breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Alvarez takes a swing at Krivanec's ribcage but misses. Alvarez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Some wild striking there from Alvarez.
Krivanec moves out of range as Alvarez strikes. Krivanec drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Krivanec trying to control but Alvarez is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krivanec working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Alvarez working for a triangle but Krivanec defends it easily.
Krivanec got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alvarez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krivanec has managed to get both his arms back between Alvarez's legs - danger averted. Krivanec is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Alvarez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Krivanec stacks Alvarez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Krivanec! Krivanec is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alvarez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Krivanec in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Alvarez tries to escape but Krivanec is in control. Alvarez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Krivanec content to control rather than advance. Krivanec is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Alvarez tries to kick Krivanec off but Krivanec keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Alvarez actively working from the bottom here. Alvarez wants to get back to his feet. Krivanec throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Krivanec scoring with strikes to the body and head. Krivanec is looking for a kimura but Alvarez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krivanec to get the leverage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Alvarez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krivanec doesn't seem bothered though. Alvarez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alvarez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Alvarez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Alvarez is looking for a triangle but Krivanec pushes his legs off easily.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Krivanec avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Krivanec gets to his feet. Alvarez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Alvarez shoots and misses and Krivanec counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alvarez's guard now. Krivanec in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Krivanec tries to stand but Alvarez is controlling from the bottom. Krivanec with a flurry of punches that miss. Alvarez has his feet on Krivanec's thighs here. He's pushed Krivanec off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Krivanec screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
