Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allistair Overeen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takanori Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi throws a nice looking combination but Overeen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Overeen slips under a jab from Gomi.
Overeen thumps Gomi with a low kick.
Gomi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Overeen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Overeen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gomi drops Overeen with a naaaaasty hook - Overeen is in real trouble here! Gomi dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takanori Gomi!
