Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Kolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Simba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prince Simba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Kolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prince Simba! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Simba lands. Kolo checks the leg kick. Horrible takedown by Kolo or perhaps it was just good defense by Simba which made him look bad. Simba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kolo shoots for a takedown but Simba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kolo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Kolo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simba lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Tim Kolo has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolo misses with a takedown and Simba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kolo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Simba stalks Kolo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kolo's face. Kolo staggers backwards, shaken. Kolo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Simba wants to clinch. Simba listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simba swats away the attempt to clinch by Kolo. Kolo shoots in for a takedown but Simba shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kolo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Simba is trying to defend but Kolo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Simba is looking to escape. Simba wants to control but Kolo is keeping busy.
Simba pushes Kolo off looking to stand but Kolo dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kolo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Simba sees it coming and defends easily. Kolo is breathing heavily. Kolo prevents Simba from improving his position. Kolo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Simba tries to get to full guard but Kolo has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Simba dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tim Kolo's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Simba feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kolo's calf. Tim Kolo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kolo shoots in looking for a takedown. Simba tries to sprawl out of it but Kolo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Simba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Simba fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Simba connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolo ducks right into an uppercut from Simba. Kolo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Tim Kolo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Simba throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kolo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A slow jab from Kolo misses its intended target. Kolo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kolo is looking to clinch but Simba is avoiding it.
Kolo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simba tries to avoid it but Kolo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simba to the ground. Simba escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Simba. No joy for Kolo on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Kolo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simba tries to work over Kolo's front leg with a kick but Kolo checks it. Kolo misses with a looping left. Simba throws a series of strikes that have Kolo backpedaling.
Kolo fails with a takedown attempt. Simba tries to clinch up but Kolo circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simba throws a leg kick but Kolo sees it coming and moves out of range. Simba fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Simba lands a nice hook to Kolo's body. Kolo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Simba bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kolo's head backwards. Kolo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Simba scores with a punch to the head.
Tim Kolo's cut is getting worse.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Simba has a takedown stuffed. A cross from Simba lands. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice jab there from Simba. Kolo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Simba. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A cross from Simba lands. Kolo tries to clinch but Simba moves away letting Simba counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Simba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tim Kolo's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Simba is trying to defend but Kolo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Simba is trying to stand up here but Kolo is controlling him well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kolo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Simba defends it well.

Simba is controlling Kolo's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Simba trying to control but Kolo postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kolo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kolo there as he acknowledges the shot. Simba lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Horrible takedown by Simba or perhaps it was just good defense by Kolo which made him look bad. Simba stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Simba displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Prince Simba seems to be getting the better of the standup. Simba stuffs the takedown attempt from Kolo. Kolo gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Kolo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simba connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kolo's hands. Simba lands with a hook. Kolo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Simba works over Kolo's head and body with a nice combination.
Tim Kolo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Simba lands a two punch combo.
Prince Simba is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Simba goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kolo has his takedown stuffed and Simba counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Simba lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Tim Kolo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Simba lands a jab to the nose.
And that's the end of the fight! Prince Simba comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Simba winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
