Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Mtagwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes to the ring accompanied by McGee. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timothy Mcgee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lee Mtagwa! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mtagwa scores with the left hand. Mcgee knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Timothy Mcgee has been cut. Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but Mtagwa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Mcgee with that takedown attempt. Mcgee shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timothy Mcgee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mtagwa misses the jab. Mtagwa throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mcgee has a takedown stuffed. No joy there for Mtagwa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Timothy Mcgee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcgee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mtagwa, pushing him back against the ropes. Mtagwa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mcgee pushes Mtagwa up against the ropes in a clinch. Mtagwa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mcgee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcgee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mtagwa keeps working. Mcgee trying to pass the guard but Mtagwa defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgee is working for a submission of some sort.
Mtagwa is trying to maintain the position but Mcgee is very close to passing his half guard. Mcgee wants to control but Mtagwa is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mcgee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mtagwa has managed to free his arm - good work. Mtagwa is refusing to be controlled, as Mcgee sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mcgee throws a strike but Mtagwa avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mcgee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Mcgee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mcgee controlling from mount. Mtagwa reaches up to try and control the position but Mcgee seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mtagwa rolls and tries to escape and now Mcgee has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgee is controlling the position but Mtagwa somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Mcgee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mtagwa sees it coming and defends easily. Mcgee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mcgee is trying to control the action in half guard but Mtagwa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mcgee prevents Mtagwa from standing back up.
Mcgee is thwarting Mtagwa's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mcgee seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Mtagwa has recovered full guard. Mcgee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mtagwa dives on top into guard. Mtagwa wants to get up but he can't break Mcgee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mcgee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mtagwa manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Mtagwa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Timothy Mcgee's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A swing and a miss from Mtagwa. Mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mtagwa as he avoids it easily. Mcgee dives in and grabs Mtagwa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mtagwa pushes down on Mcgee's head and hops out. No joy there for Mtagwa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mtagwa throws a nice looking combination but Mcgee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgee is defended easily by Mtagwa. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timothy Mcgee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mtagwa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mcgee shoots for a double leg takedown but Mtagwa sprawls well. He's pushed Mcgee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mtagwa getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Mcgee has a takedown stuffed. Mcgee gets the takedown into side control. Mtagwa is breathing heavily. Mcgee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mtagwa has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mtagwa parries the strikes from Mcgee easily there. Mcgee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mtagwa to escape.
Mcgee is trying to get an arm triangle but Mtagwa is defending well. You can see the frustration on Mtagwa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mcgee sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mtagwa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mcgee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mtagwa, who protects the arm well.

Mtagwa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mcgee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mtagwa is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mcgee trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Mcgee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcgee is looking to stand up but Mtagwa isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Lee Mtagwa will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Timothy Mcgee's cut. That's time! Mcgee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Mtagwa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mcgee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mtagwa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mcgee is just content to waste time from the top position. Mtagwa takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Mcgee sitting in guard here, content to control. Mcgee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mtagwa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mcgee has gone for a leg lock! Mtagwa slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcgee's guard. Mtagwa won't allow Mcgee to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mcgee working for a triangle but Mtagwa defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mtagwa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mtagwa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mcgee working for a triangle but Mtagwa defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mcgee looking for subs off his back but Mtagwa has passed one foot through into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mtagwa wants to stand but Mcgee has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Timothy Mcgee showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mtagwa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
