Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Ngaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Ngaha acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dixon Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chad Ngaha!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ngaha scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cox is looking to regain half guard here but Ngaha keeps moving and retains side control.
Cox managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ngaha.
Cox tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ngaha wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cox throws a hook to the side of Ngaha's head but Ngaha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ngaha tries to avoid it but Cox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ngaha to the ground. Ngaha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ngaha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cox circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ngaha is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cox lets go of the hold and Ngaha can pop his arm back in it's socket.
