Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Briggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Vine!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Briggs avoids it really well and circles away.
Briggs scores with a kick to the midsection.
Vine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Briggs manages to avoid it.
Vine shoots in but Briggs avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Briggs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Vine misses its intended target.
Briggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vine was well out of range. Poor timing from Briggs.

Vince Vine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Briggs gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Vine throwing shots but Briggs is blocking nicely.

Vine is trying to work for a kimura but Briggs is defending well.
Vine wants to control but Briggs is keeping him busy.

Vine thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Briggs's head.
Vine winds up and cracks Briggs with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Vine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vine is just content to waste time from the top position. Briggs takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Vine throws and elbow that misses. Briggs uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vine's guard. Nice move by Briggs!
Vine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Vine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Briggs is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Briggs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Vine is looking to advance position but Briggs has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Briggs landing strikes from the mount and Vine is in trouble!
Briggs avoids the attempt from Vine to control.
Vine is desperately trying to improve his position but Briggs has a good base and remains in mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Briggs looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Vine covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
