Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Abrosimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack James has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Abrosimov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by James.
Abrosimov sneaks back into half guard.
Abrosimov is controlling James's trapped leg to prevent James from advancing to side control.
James is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Abrosimov punching from the bottom.
Abrosimov tries to regain full guard. Instead though, James has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Abrosimov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that James has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Abrosimov is wriggling around trying to escape.
Abrosimov wants to hold on but James pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Abrosimov sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
James content to control rather than advance.

James stands up and beckons Abrosimov to join him on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's time! Abrosimov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Abrosimov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

James wants to control the pace but Abrosimov is squirming around nicely.

James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Abrosimov is looking to escape.
James avoids the attempt from Abrosimov to control.
Abrosimov tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Max Abrosimov dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


James throws a nice looking combination but Abrosimov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

James takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
