Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eldridge Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Radno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eldridge Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Radno!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Radno gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Radno wants to sweep here but Bronson controlling him for the moment.
Radno keeping full guard, as Bronson tries to pass.
Radno looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bronson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Bronson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bronson tries to stand and escape but Radno actually recovers to full guard.
Bronson wants to stand but Radno has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bronson won't allow Radno to sweep him here.
Bronson connects with a couple of short punches.
Radno keeping moving, preventing Bronson from controlling successfully.
Bronson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Radno on the ground.
Bronson wants to get up but he can't break Radno's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Radno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bronson is stalling in the full guard.
Bronson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Radno trying to keep a closed guard but Bronson is proving a slippery customer.
Bronson postures up in Radno's guard and throws a big left but Radno blocks it.
Radno looking for a sweep. Not yet Radno, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bronson has closed the distance and engaged Radno in a clinch.
Radno is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bronson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Radno looks gassed!
Radno tries to score a body lock takedown but Bronson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bronson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bronson pushes Radno up against the cage in a clinch.

Bronson breaks the clinch.
Bronson lands a head kick. Radno smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bronson misses with a double jab.

Radno has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Bronson moves into range and clinches up with Radno.
Nice body punch from Bronson.
Bronson lands a body punch in the clinch.

Bronson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bronson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Radno looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bronson manages to break the clinch.
Bronson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bronson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Radno takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bronson scores with a kick to the midsection.
A nice combination there by Bronson.
Bronson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Bronson rushes Radno and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bronson tightens his grip and picks Radno up, before dumping him to the ground. Radno manages to land in guard.
Radno is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Radno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bronson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bronson wants to improve his position but Radno is controlling well.

Radno passes to full mount!
Bronson wants to hold on but Radno pushes him away.
Radno looking to control but Bronson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Radno is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Poor strikes thrown by Radno there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bronson regains half guard.
Bronson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Radno's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Radno's back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bronson doesn't have the hooks in and Radno manages to turn into his guard.
Radno trying to control but Bronson is working from the bottom.
Bronson has momentary wrist control but Radno slips an elbow through the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eldridge Bronson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Bronson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Radno is trying to defend but Bronson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Radno wants to get back to full guard.

Bronson is thwarting Radno's attempts to control the position.
Radno is looking for a sweep. Bronson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Radno is looking to control Bronson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Radno avoid being mounted?

Bronson wants to free his trapped foot but Radno is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bronson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Radno napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Radno scores a takedown into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Radno is landing with some decent strikes but Bronson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Radno is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bronson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Radno is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bronson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Radno misses with a takedown attempt

and Bronson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Radno's guard.
Bronson wants to stand but Radno has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Radno should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Radno wants to improve his position but instead Bronson has moved into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bronson connects with a nice short shot to Radno's temple.
Radno is staying active underneath Bronson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bronson decides to stand and escape the position.
Eldridge Bronson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Good leg kick by Bronson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Eldridge Bronson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Radno is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like Bronson is going to stand back up.

Eldridge Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Radno.

Well Bronson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
