Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kilmster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Sparkler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmster comes into the arena with Maylene & The Sons of Disaster - Darkest of Kin blaring out of the sound system. Sparkler has chosen I'm Always Here as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Kilmster! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ric Sparkler! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilmster lands a jab-cross combination. Sparkler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kilmster moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kilmster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kilmster controls Sparkler momentarily but Sparkler frees himself. Sparkler trying to control the position from guard on top but Kilmster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sparkler looking to sit in guard and control but Kilmster gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kilmster works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sparkler is trying to get back to full guard. Sparkler is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparkler makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sparkler. Sparkler looking for a sweep. Not yet Sparkler, not yet. Sparkler looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sparkler is on top in guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sparkler blocks a jab. Sparkler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilmster moves away. Ric Sparkler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sparkler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilmster was well out of range. Poor timing from Sparkler. Sparkler darts in and clinches Kilmster up against the ropes. Sparkler creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Sparkler lands a good knee to the midsection. Kilmster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sparkler misses with a takedown attempt - Kilmster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kilmster uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sparkler's guard. Nice move by Kilmster! Kilmster scoring with punches to the head and body. Kilmster takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Kilmster keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kilmster smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sparkler is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kilmster works Sparkler's body with a nice hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kilmster is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kilmster's corner calls for a 1-2. Kilmster obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kilmster lands with a nice body punch. Kilmster lands with an overhand left. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sparkler takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
