Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Saku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Saku!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark jabs Saku right on the nose. Saku blinks but takes it well.
Stark lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stark drops Saku with a beautiful combination! Saku stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stark is looking for the KO!
It looks like Hiro Saku has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stark throws a leg kick that misses.
Saku fails with an attempt to clinch.
Good leg kick by Stark there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stark throws a right hand that Saku ducks under and follows up with a left that Saku also avoids with ease.
Stark lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stark throws a monster overhand right that drops Saku! Stark follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Stark!
