Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tai Sane!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takeshi.
Sane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sane swats away the attempt to clinch by Takeshi.
Sane tries to clinch
enabling Takeshi to counter with a crisp jab.
Takeshi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sane circles away.
Takeshi moves into range and clinches up with Sane.

Sane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sane lands a left hand that snaps the head of Takeshi backwards.
Takeshi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sane just stands there and leans against the ropes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuya Takeshi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takeshi is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sane is keeping busy.
Sane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takeshi has him pressed against the ropes.

Sane wants the takedown. Takeshi is fighting it off but Sane persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Takeshi's guard against the ropes.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sane tries to stand but Takeshi is controlling from the bottom.

Sane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Takeshi's head.
Sane is posturing up here but Takeshi has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sane tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sane has to tap! Slick submission there by Takeshi!
