Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khris Murphey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Salazaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Back in Black. Salazaar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ton of Bricks. Khris Murphey has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khris Murphey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Salazaar! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salazaar throws a jab when Murphey was well out of range. Nice sprawl there from Salazaar as Murphey shoots in. Some bone on bone action there as Murphey checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Salazaar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murphey swivels and escapes. Salazaar fails with a takedown attempt. Salazaar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Khris Murphey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Salazaar. Murphey misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murphey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Murphey tries to pull guard but Salazaar won't allow it.
Murphey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Salazaar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Murphey wants a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphey goes for a takedown attempt but Salazaar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Salazaar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Murphey counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Murphey jabbing away but nothing is landing. Antonio Salazaar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salazaar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphey tries to avoid it but Salazaar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphey to the ground. Murphey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Salazaar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murphey as he avoids it easily. Murphey misses with a body shot.
Murphey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salazaar. Murphey lands a really nice looking cross but Salazaar seems unphased.
Salazaar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Salazaar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Murphey is breathing heavily. Murphey tries to reverse the position but Salazaar maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazaar scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Murphey?
Salazaar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Murphey is looking to escape. Salazaar is working for a guillotine from mount but Murphey frees his head quite easily.
Murphey sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Murphey trying to control from the bottom.
Salazaar seems to be working for a kimura but Murphey defends the submission attempt. Murphey tries to get to full guard but Salazaar has control of the leg. Murphey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Salazaar pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazaar seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Murphey is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
