Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Pendridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akimbo Dice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Pendridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akimbo Dice! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dice fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pendridge throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Pendridge rushes Dice and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Dice changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pendridge fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pendridge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pendridge closes the distance and pushes Dice back into the ropes. The referee is keeping an eye on Pendridge - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Pendridge gets underhooks to prevent Dice's takedown attempt.
Luke Pendridge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akimbo Dice. Pendridge is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dice is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pendridge to the mat. Pendridge regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pendridge is keeping the position for now. Pendridge wants to stand up but Dice is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dice trying to control but Pendridge is working from the bottom. Dice throwing strikes from guard but Pendridge blocks nicely. Dice trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pendridge lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dice! Dice tries to reverse the position but Pendridge maintains control. Pendridge cracks Dice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The referee warns Dice that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dice looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pendridge content just to control the position here. Pendridge cracks Dice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pendridge is working for a guillotine from mount but Dice frees his head quite easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pendridge breaks from Dice's wrist control and lands an elbow. Pendridge is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dice has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pendridge has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pendridge dominating with strikes here. Pendridge trying to control but Dice is having none of it. Pendridge lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dice hang on?

Pendridge tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pendridge wants to clinch up but Dice keeps it at a distance. Pendridge rushes Dice and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Pendridge is pressed up against the ropes. Dice has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pendridge down to the mat. Pendridge avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pendridge gets the takedown into side control. Dice is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pendridge off and has taken his back! Pendridge holding both Dice 's hands and preventing any damage. Dice is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Pendridge. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Pendridge looking very determined here, making life difficult for Dice.
Pendridge manages to escape to his feet. Dice is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendridge throws a nice looking combination but Dice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pendridge moves in looking to clinch but Dice pushes him off. Pendridge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dice napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pendridge trying to control the action but Dice is working from the bottom. Dice gets back to half guard. Dice is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pendridge's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pendridge's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dice connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Pendridge to escape the position.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Dice. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Dice throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Dice scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Pendridge is looking for a way out. Dice missing with punches from the back. Dice is trying to stick to Pendridge's back but Pendridge is turning into Dice. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dice's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pendridge. Pendridge postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pendridge decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pendridge is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pendridge tries to clinch but Dice moves out of range. Pendridge tries to clinch up but Dice circles away and keeps his distance. Pendridge misses with a head kick.

Dice scoring with punches and elbows. Dice works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Pendridge dodges the ground and pound from Dice. Pendridge is trying to improve his position. Pendridge pushes Dice away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dice gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dice cracks Pendridge with a big right hand but Pendridge just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Akimbo Dice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Akimbo Dice's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Pendridge with a poor takedown so Dice counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dice wants to pass the guard but Pendridge is keeping the position. Pendridge is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dice trying to control but Pendridge is working from the bottom. Dice distracts Pendridge with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Pendridge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dice cracks Pendridge with a solid left hand.

Pendridge is looking to stand back up but Dice counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pendridge. Dice not doing much here.

Dice lands strikes from half guard. Dice is nestled in close to Pendridge, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dice is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pendridge gets his way!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Pendridge controlling the positon. Dice tries to break free.
Pendridge is looking for the choke from the back position but Dice is controlling his hands well. Dice has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Pendridge.

Dice manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pendridge's guard. Nice work there by Dice.

Pendridge is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Dice frees his head nicely. Oh but Pendridge has switched to an armbar! Dice is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
