Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chino Bandito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandito kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slayer -- South of Heaven. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandito shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lang sprawls well. Lang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bandito gets slowly back to his feet.
Lang looks to land a left hand but Bandito moved out of range nicely.
Lang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bandito.
Lang lands a right hook to the body.
Lang misses with a wild body shot.
Lang moves away from the strike by Bandito.
Bandito goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bandito misses with a head kick.
Lang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lang just misses with a punch to the body.
Lang takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lang throws a right and a left that Bandito avoids nicely.
Lang lands with a nice combination. Bandito backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Chino Bandito has been cut.
Bandito tries a head kick but it misses.
Lang fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Bandito does no damage.
Lang misses the shot to the body.
Lang lands a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lang moves out of range of the strikes.
Lang throws a body punch but Bandito moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lang lands a slapping body shot.
James Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bandito is breathing heavily.
Lang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bandito looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lang getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lang works the jab nicely.
Bandito is rocked!
Lang is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bandito flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bandito is out cold! Lang holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Lang!
