The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David avoids the head kick by Romario.
Romario will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Romario lands a jab.
David checks a leg kick.
Romario throws a right and a left that David avoids nicely.
Romario misses the shot to the body.
David throws a leg kick
and Romario counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Romario takes a swing at David's ribcage but misses.
Romario throws a right and a left that David avoids nicely.
Romario lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but David circles away quickly and effectively.
David misses with a body shot.

Romario throws a combination but it was largely blocked by David.
Romario dips to his left and cracks David with an uppercut!
Romario moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

David drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

David is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Romario knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

David decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Romario connects with a crisp jab.
Romario looks to land a combination but David avoids it well.
David misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Romario drops David with a beautiful combination! David stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Romario is looking for the KO!

David is rocked!

It looks like Larry David has been cut.
Romario throws a right and a left that David avoids nicely.
Oh David is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romario throws a right hand that David ducks under and follows up with a left that David also avoids with ease.
Romario tries to bum rush David with a series of wild strikes but David uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
David changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Romario tries to avoid it but David manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Romario to the ground. Romario escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
David takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
David is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Romario throws an uppercut from hell that sends David clean off his feet! He's out cold! Romario stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
