And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stanko Velilkov!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawn keeps the fight on the outside.
Rawn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Velilkov defends it nicely.
Velilkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rawn looks for a takedown but Velilkov sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pol Rawn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Velilkov stops a takedown attempt from Rawn.

Velilkov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rawn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Velilkov manages to break the clinch.

Velilkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rawn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Velilkov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rawn is keeping the position for now.
Velilkov wants to get up but he can't break Rawn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Rawn controls Velilkov momentarily but Velilkov frees himself.
Velilkov won't allow Rawn to sweep him here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A lazy left from Velilkov finds it's target.


It looks like Pol Rawn has been cut.
Velilkov looks to land a combination but Rawn avoids it well.

Velilkov forces Rawn back against the cage and clinches.

Velilkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rawn closes the distance and clinches up with Velilkov, looking for a takedown. Rawn pushes Velilkov against the cage but Velilkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Velilkov cracks Rawn with a good jab.
Velilkov throws a shot to the body.
Rawn is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Velilkov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Velilkov lands with a slapping head kick.

Velilkov cracks Rawn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Velilkov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rawn to stand back up!


Pol Rawn's cut is getting worse.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Velilkov lands with a good body shot.

Velilkov clinches with his opponent.

Velilkov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rawn walks into a straight right hand from Velilkov.


Pol Rawn's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Velilkov lands a big uppercut and Rawn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rawn looks OK. Velilkov waves Rawn back to his feet!


Rawn is rocked!
Velilkov connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Rawn to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Velilkov!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stanko Velilkov!
