Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Drake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Bojansky! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drake is looking to clinch. Drake gets in close and instigates a clinch. Drake is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bojansky is defending well for now. Drake throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bojansky blocks it with crossed arms. Drake misses with a knee to the head. Drake keeps control of Bojansky as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. With the fighters up against the cage, Drake throws an elbow but misses. Drake with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Dan Bojansky has been cut. Drake throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bojansky blocks it with crossed arms. A nice glancing elbow lands by Drake. Drake tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bojansky is looking to break free of the clinch but Drake has double underhooks. Drake with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bojansky can't break the clinch.
Drake lands an elbow that stopped Bojansky in his tracks for a moment. Drake misses with a knee strike.
Drake looking to throw knees to the head but Bojansky is blocking nicely.
Drake using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bojansky has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Drake gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Drake throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bojansky blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Drake tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bojansky wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bojansky landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Drake is breathing heavily. Bojansky tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Drake prevents Bojansky from breaking the clinch. Drake with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Bojansky looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Drake tries a knee to the head but Bojansky blocks it.
Bojansky connects with a nasty looking knee right to Drake's face.
Bojansky tries to break the clinch but Drake is controlling the position. Bojansky has had enough of the clinch but Drake keeps him there for the moment. Bojansky tries to break free but Drake pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bojansky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bojansky thumps Drake with a low kick. Bojansky throws a nice head kick!
Drake tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bojansky tries to bum rush Drake with a series of wild strikes but Drake uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Drake tries to land a front kick but Bojansky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bojansky throws a shot to the body.
Drake tries to clinch but Bojansky is having none of it. Bojansky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bojansky throws a head kick but Drake moves out of range.
Dan Bojansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Bojansky misses. Bojansky misses with a double jab.
Bojansky throws out a leg kick but Drake moves out of range and Bojansky only half commits. Bojansky swinging wildly here.
Bojansky keeps Drake at a distance using the push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drake tries to clinch up. Drake wants to clinch. Bojansky keeps the fight on the outside. Drake fakes the leg kick and cracks Bojansky in the body. Drake is looking to clinch but Bojansky is avoiding it.
Drake tries to clinch up but Bojansky circles away and keeps his distance. Bojansky swats away the attempt to clinch by Drake. Bojansky misses with a few strikes there.
Drake throws a leg kick which misses Bojansky's front leg but catches the back leg as Bojansky tries to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bojansky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A good leg kick by Drake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drake connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Bojansky to the floor! Drake dives in looking for the finish!
Bojansky is rocked! Drake lands a big elbow - Bojansky is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Drake!
