Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Helber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes into the arena with Can't Tell Me Nothing blaring out of the sound system. Helber has chosen War is coming as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Helber! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Helber's waist but Helber gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side. Helber shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harris is trying to defend but Helber finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nice strikes from Helber there.
It looks like David Harris has been cut. Helber misses with a head shot. Harris uses the momentum to regain guard. Helber missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Helber trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Helber is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Helber scoring with some ground and pound. Helber throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Helber postures up in Harris's guard and throws a big left but Harris blocks it. Harris has momentary wrist control but Helber slips an elbow through the middle. Helber wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Helber is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Helber sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harris's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Helber lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Nice strikes from Helber there. Harris wants to control but Helber is keeping busy.
Harris is breathing heavily. Helber is looking to advance position but Harris won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Helber works his way into full mount! Harris taking shots to the head.
David Harris's cut is getting worse. Helber with the ground and pound from mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harris is in a horrible position here. Helber smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
David Harris's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Helber scoring with strikes but Harris is staying in there.
Harris is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
