Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mat Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards looks for a takedown but Dragon sprawls well.
Dragon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dragon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dragon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Richards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dragon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Richards looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Richards looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Richards!
Richards wants to control but Dragon is keeping him busy.
Dragon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Richards off and has taken his back!
Dragon is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Richards defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Richards tries to escape but Dragon has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richards is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dragon gets his way!

Dragon looks gassed!
Richards trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragon missing with strikes from the back.
Dragon is looking for the choke from the back position but Richards is controlling his hands well.
Richards turns into Dragon and is now in his guard.
Richards trying to control the position from guard on top but Dragon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dragon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Richards is one step ahead there.

Richards wants to control from the top but Dragon keeps moving.
Dragon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dragon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richards doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Richards manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Richards trying to control the position from guard on top but Dragon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Richards has his takedown stuffed
and Dragon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Richards won't be happy with that.
Dragon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richards keeps working.
Dragon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dragon lands some shots froms side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dragon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Richards is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
