Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Esquandolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Kraylen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kraylen has chosen Me Against the World - Tupac as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Esquandolas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Kraylen! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraylen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Esquandolas as he avoids it easily. Esquandolas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Esquandolas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kraylen checks it well. Esquandolas lands a front kick. Kraylen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Esquandolas.
Esquandolas gets caught flat footed, as Kraylen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Esquandolas working a defensive guard but Kraylen manages to pass into side control anyway.
Esquandolas tries to improve position but can't. Kraylen prevents Esquandolas from escaping the position. Esquandolas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kraylen trying to control the action but Esquandolas is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Esquandolas throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Esquandolas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kraylen rushes Esquandolas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kraylen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Esquandolas blocks it with crossed arms. Kraylen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Esquandolas looking to slow down the pace here. Esquandolas blocks an elbow strike from Kraylen.

Esquandolas forces Kraylen back against the cage and clinches. Kraylen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kraylen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Esquandolas's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Esquandolas goes for a takedown attempt but Kraylen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Esquandolas tries to clinch and Kraylen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kraylen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Esquandolas regains guard.
Esquandolas is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kraylen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Esquandolas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kraylen is controlling him. Esquandolas pushes Kraylen off and gets back to his feet.
Esquandolas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kraylen counters with a straight right hand. Horrible takedown by Kraylen or perhaps it was just good defense by Esquandolas which made him look bad. Marco Esquandolas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Kraylen. Esquandolas with a poor takedown and Kraylen counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kraylen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Esquandolas tries to clinch but Kraylen moves away and Esquandolas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Esquandolas's corner calls for a 1-2. Esquandolas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Jimmy Kraylen has been cut. Esquandolas keeps Kraylen at a distance using the push kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraylen with a nice cross. Esquandolas wants to clinch up but Kraylen keeps it at a distance. Kraylen closes the distance looking to clinch and Esquandolas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Esquandolas looks to land a combination. Kraylen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kraylen is rocked! Esquandolas darts in trying to clinch and Kraylen counters with a single leg into guard. Esquandolas didn't expect that. Esquandolas is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Esquandolas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kraylen trying to control the position from guard on top but Esquandolas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Esquandolas looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kraylen passes into half guard.

Kraylen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Esquandolas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action! Esquandolas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kraylen is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marco Esquandolas will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jimmy Kraylen's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Esquandolas looks to land a combination but Kraylen avoids it well. Kraylen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kraylen checks a leg kick nicely. Esquandolas throws a head kick that misses and Kraylen counters with a one-two to the body. Kraylen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Esquandolas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kraylen feints and as Esquandolas raises his hands in defense, Kraylen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Esquandolas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Esquandolas lands a decent punch to the body there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kraylen stops Esquandolas from standing up. Kraylen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Esquandolas is looking to stand up but Kraylen isn't so interested in that idea. Esquandolas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kraylen passes Esquandolas's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Esquandolas is trying to stand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Esquandolas wants to clinch and Kraylen counters with a two punch combo. The fight stays on the outside here - Esquandolas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kraylen with a lazy takedown attempt and Esquandolas counters by moving into the clinch. Esquandolas wants to stand up but Kraylen is controlling him. Kraylen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Esquandolas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kraylen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kraylen moves into range and clinches up with Esquandolas. Kraylen cracks Esquandolas with a nice body shot. Esquandolas fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Esquandolas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kraylen's calf. Esquandolas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kraylen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Esquandolas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kraylen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Esquandolas clobbers Kraylen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A head kick by Esquandolas misses and Kraylen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Esquandolas kicks Kraylen off and gets to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Esquandolas tries to close the distance and clinch but Kraylen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Esquandolas rushes Kraylen and presses him up against the cage. Esquandolas is looking to break free of the clinch but Kraylen has double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Kraylen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jimmy Kraylen's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

He has hold of a leg but Esquandolas is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kraylen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Esquandolas controlling Kraylen's posture. Kraylen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Esquandolas is proving hard to escape from. Esquandolas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Esquandolas pushes Kraylen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Kraylen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kraylen lands in his opponent's guard. Esquandolas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kraylen's guard. Esquandolas controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Esquandolas tries to free his leg and advance position but Kraylen is retaining full guard. Esquandolas gets to his feet - Kraylen follows without any prompting. Kraylen wants to clinch. Kraylen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kraylen connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Esquandolas! He's out on his feet! Kraylen rushes in and drops Esquandolas with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jimmy Kraylen!
