Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hernandez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stark stands up.
Hernandez feints and as Stark raises his hands in defense, Hernandez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hernandez trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Stark manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Stark controlling from the top position.
Hernandez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Stark is stalling in the full guard.
Stark has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hernandez being controlled here, momentarily.
Hernandez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hernandez is striking but Stark is not phased and passes to half guard.
Stark looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hernandez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stark is working away from the top position though.
Stark content to control rather than advance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stark seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hernandez for as long as he can get away with.
Stark seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stark content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hernandez shoots and misses
and Stark counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hernandez wants to stand back up but Stark manages to pass into side control.
Stark controls the position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Emilio Stark just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Hernandez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hernandez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hernandez won't be happy with that.
Stark tries to advance to mount but can't.
Stark tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hernandez struggling a bit here.
Stark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hernandez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Stark is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hernandez is trying to escape and Stark transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hernandez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stark! Very nice indeed!
