Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ron Damon!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Damon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Damon wants it to stay on the feet.
Damon throws a series of punches but Mitia avoids them all with ease.
Damon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Damon lands with a hook. Mitia tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mitia fails with a takedown attempt.
Damon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mitia momentarily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mitia.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitri Mitia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mitia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ron Damon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damon thuds his right hand into Mitia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Damon catches Mitia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Damon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mitia is breathing heavily.
Mitia takes one to the side of the head.

Damon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mitia had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

A jab-cross combination lands for Damon and sends Mitia crashing to the mat! Damon follows him down to the mat - Mitia regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Mitia is rocked!

It looks like Dmitri Mitia has been cut.
Damon scores with a big shot! Mitia's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Mitia! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
