Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flynn tries to bum rush Nilsson with a series of wild strikes but Nilsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nilsson checks a leg kick.

Nilsson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Flynn wants to break free but Nilsson has control.

Nilsson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Flynn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nilsson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Flynn's back instead.

Nilsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Flynn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nilsson pulls his head out easily.

Flynn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Flynn manages to end up in side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flynn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nilsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Flynn is bucking up trying to escape but Nilsson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Nilsson has hold of Flynn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Flynn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Nilsson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Flynn defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
