Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stone Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colly Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into the arena with Poppin My Collar blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stone Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Colly Davis! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis. Carter wants to clinch. Davis throws a leg kick but Carter sees it coming and moves out of range. Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A chopping leg kick lands by Carter. Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Davis wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving. Davis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carter's guard. Davis is controlling the pace.
Carter is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carter. Davis preventing the sweep. Carter is working hard here to advance position. Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground. Davis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Davis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Carter is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter tries to roll over but Davis keeps him under control. Davis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Carter has a hand on Davis's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Davis takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Carter is breathing heavily. Carter is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Despite being in the dominant position, Colly Davis just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Carter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Davis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard. Carter being controlled here, momentarily. Davis postures up.
Carter keeping full guard, as Davis tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colly Davis dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Carter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Carter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Davis shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A head kick misses from Davis. Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Davis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carter won't be happy with that. Davis taking a breather here. Davis is looking to take a break and control but Carter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Davis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Davis trying to control from half guard but Carter is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Carter wants to get back to his feet. Davis is trying to control the action in half guard but Carter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Davis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Carter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Davis is working away from the top position though. Davis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carter is just riding it out for now. Davis eventually gives up the hold. Davis is breathing heavily. Carter is looking to control Davis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carter avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carter swinging wilding here.
Carter wants to clinch up but Davis keeps it at a distance. A big right from Carter misses. Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis. A combination from Carter does no damage. Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Davis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Davis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Davis working Carter over with strikes. Davis scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis prevents Carter from standing back up.
Carter moves into full guard.
Carter pulls Davis in to control the position. Carter trying to keep a closed guard but Davis is proving a slippery customer.
Carter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carter tries to get out of the position. Davis trying to stand up but can't free himself from Carter's guard. Davis won't allow Carter to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carter manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Davis is wriggling around trying to escape.
Carter wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. Davis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Davis is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colly Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Carter tries to clinch but Davis moves away and Davis counters by clinching up. Carter misses with an elbow strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis. Carter prevents Davis from breaking the clinch. Carter softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Carter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daviss head. Carter throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Carter lands an elbow inside. Carter stalling in the clinch but Davis improves position. Davis blocks an elbow strike from Carter.
Davis pulls guard. Davis has a closed guard, preventing Carter from standing up. Davis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carter's guard. Davis looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Davis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Davis stands and steps away. Carter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter clinches up with Davis and pushes him back against the cage. Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carter throws a head kick that misses. Carter misses with a two punch combination.
Davis takes the fight into the clinch. Davis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Carter can't fight it off and eventually Davis manages to take the fight to the floor. Carter looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Davis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carter wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davis. Carter wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him. Davis trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Carter manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Colly Davis has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter is looking to stand up but Davis won't let him. Carter trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carter is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Davis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter. Davis dodges the punch combination from Carter.
Davis tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis fails in his attempt to clinch. Carter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Davis counters with a single leg into guard. Carter didn't expect that. Carter is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Davis controls from within his opponent's guard. Carter working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard. Carter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Davis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Davis controlling Carter's posture. Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Colly Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Davis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
