Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Woodcock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Ness!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Ness misses.
Woodcock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ness takes a swing at Woodcock's ribcage but misses.
Woodcock throws a shot from downtown. Ness moves away and avoids it.
Ness walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ness shoots in and drives through. Woodcock sprawls well.
A telegraphed right hand from Ness misses the target.
Woodcock throws a looping overhand right but Ness ducks down to avoid it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ness.

and Ness counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Woodcock wants to get back to his feet but Ness is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ness throws and elbow that misses. Woodcock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ness's guard. Nice move by Woodcock!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Woodcock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ness lands with a good body shot.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Woodcock wants to stand up but Ness is controlling him.

Mike Ness showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
