Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shinya Takata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Larry Luutch!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takata throws a big shot that misses.
Takata jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Luutch walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Luutch is rocked!
It looks like Larry Luutch has been cut.
Luutch dodges the punch combination from Takata.
A looping hook to the body misses from Takata. Luutch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takata cracks Luutch on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Luutch falls backwards against the cage. Takata follows up with more strikes that drop Luutch to his knees. Takata keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Luutch! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shinya Takata!
