Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sun Shine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Protacio Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Protacio Jawo!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jawo. Shine does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jawo lunges at Shine with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Shine's hand.
Shine tries to close the distance and clinch but Jawo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shine fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jawo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jawo is looking to work some ground and pound but Shine has wrist control.
Jawo thows a big elbow that misses.

Sun Shine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jawo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sun Shine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Protacio Jawo.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jawo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Shine is in a horrible position here. Jawo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jawo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jawo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Shine is now in Jawo's guard. A big mistake from Jawo there, giving up the dominant position!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jawo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Shine rather than just go for the knockout.
Jawo shoots in and bounces Shine off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well Jawo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
