The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore throws a chopping leg kick but Smith manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gilmore tries a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Gilmore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Gilmore throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Happy Gilmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
