Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbi Nakamura will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbi Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura throws a hook but Anderson avoids it easily. Anderson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nakamura. Nakamura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anderson swivels and escapes. Nakamura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away. Andy Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbi Nakamura. Anderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nakamura, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nakamura gets slowly back to his feet. Nakamura fails with a takedown attempt. Andy Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson drives through with a takedown into guard. Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson passes Nakamura's left leg - he's now in half guard. Nakamura is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard. Anderson blocks the strikes from Nakamura.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura is staying active underneath Anderson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nakamura is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nakamura doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.
Nakamura with a lazy takedown attempt and Anderson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nakamura's guard now. Anderson gets to his feet. Nakamura looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nakamura doesn't succeed with the takedown and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nakamura won't be happy with that. Anderson is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nakamura is trying to control Anderson's posture but Anderson avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson trying to control the position but Nakamura is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson staying calm. Nakamura is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Anderson is staying tight to Nakamura's torso, preventing him from escaping. Anderson is trying to ground and pound but Nakamura uses the momentary lack of control by Anderson to regain half guard. Nakamura looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nakamura wants to get back to full guard. Anderson is thwarting Nakamura's attempts to control the position. Anderson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Nakamura. Anderson winds up and cracks Nakamura with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Nakamura keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Anderson is thwarting Nakamura's attempts to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nakamura shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Anderson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nakamura stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nakamura wants it to stay on the feet. A head kick misses from Anderson. Nakamura clinches with his opponent.
Nakamura jumps into guard, dragging Anderson to the mat.

Nakamura wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment. Nakamura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Anderson is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nakamura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is pressing down on Nakamura's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.
Anderson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nakamura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Anderson trying to control but Nakamura is working from the bottom. Nakamura trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Nakamura had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anderson defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson is keen to just control but Nakamura is a slippery customer. Nakamura actively working from the bottom here. Nakamura is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard. Anderson trying to control the action but Nakamura is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nakamura tries for a takedown but Anderson circles away easily and Anderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Anderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakamura working for a triangle but Anderson defends it easily.

You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well. Anderson forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Anderson dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nakamura circles away from the clinch attempt and Nakamura counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anderson won't be happy with that. Nakamura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nakamura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nakamura wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Anderson, who protects the arm well. Nakamura laying and praying for a moment but Anderson takes advantage and regains half guard. Anderson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Nakamura. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is defending against the submission attempts here by Nakamura.
Nakamura seems to be looking for submissions.
Anderson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Nakamura wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Nakamura is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Andy Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anderson trying to keep a closed guard but Nakamura is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nakamura looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anderson! Nakamura goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Anderson is on top in guard.
Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Anderson sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Anderson controlling from the top position. Nakamura is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anderson is aware though and is defending well. Nakamura bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard. Anderson controlling Nakamura's posture. Anderson is trying to control the position but Nakamura postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nakamura's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Nakamura throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nakamura looking to pass the guard. Anderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nakamura preventing the sweep. Anderson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Nakamura trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nakamura doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Robbi Nakamura comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
