Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trello Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trello Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Strange! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strange wants to clinch up but Kingston keeps it at a distance. Kingston tries a head kick but it misses.
Ben Strange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strange moves in looking to clinch but Kingston pushes him off. Strange moves in looking to clinch but Kingston pushes him off. Kingston shoots in looking for a takedown. Strange tries to sprawl out of it but Kingston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strange manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Strange keeps the fight on the outside. Strange tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kingston counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Strange! Strange working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston controlling his opponent. Strange takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Strange turns into him and now he's in Kingston's guard.
Kingston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kingston bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Strange's guard. Strange wants to sweep but no luck. Kingston wants to control from the top but Strange keeps moving. Strange keeping full guard, as Kingston tries to pass. Kingston loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kingston content to stall in guard here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Strange is on top in guard.
Strange decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kingston, up you get! Strange tries to clinch and Kingston counters with a series of strikes. Strange will be more careful next time no doubt. Kingston fails in his attempt to clinch. Strange tries to clinch and Kingston counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kingston. Kingston fails to pull guard.
Strange connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kingston's face.
Strange unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kingston is breathing heavily. Strange pulls guard effortlessly. Strange is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strange wants to sweep here but Kingston controlling him for the moment. Strange throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kingston wants to control from the top but Strange keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kingston distracts Strange with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kingston preventing the sweep. Kingston is stalling in the full guard. Strange is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Trello Kingston will probably get the nod. That's time! Kingston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kingston shoots in and drives through. Strange sprawls well. Kingston circles away from the clinch attempt and Kingston counters by clinching up. Kingston wants to get back to striking at distance but Strange won't allow it.
Strange lands a nice knee to the body. Strange escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strange closes the distance looking to clinch and Kingston decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Strange's guard. Strange keeping moving, preventing Kingston from controlling successfully. Strange seems keen to control Kingston's posture. Kingston wants to control from the top but Strange keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strange looking to control.
Kingston trying to control but Strange is working from the bottom. Kingston tries to stand but Strange is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Strange gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kingston tries to work over Strange's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Strange is pressed up against the cage. Kingston has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Strange down to the mat. Strange avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Strange closes the distance but Kingston moves to the side and Kingston moves into the clinch. Kingston tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trello Kingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kingston tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Strange smiles and moves away.
Strange tries to clinch there but Kingston circles away.
Strange wants to clinch up but Kingston keeps it at a distance. Kingston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strange sprawls well. Strange wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kingston gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strange tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kingston counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strange tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kingston swivels and escapes. Kingston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strange paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kingston swats away the attempt to clinch by Strange. Kingston is looking to clinch but Strange is avoiding it.
Kingston misses the jab. Kingston throws a nice looking combination but Strange bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kingston with a lazy takedown attempt and Strange holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Strange lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Trello Kingston has been cut. Strange is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Strange pulls guard. Strange is controlling Kingston's posture. Strange manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kingston is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strange blocks Kingston's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Strange has isolated one of Kingston's arms. Kingston looking to fight him off but Strange twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
