Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorje Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Goes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slayer comes to the cage accompanied by Otep - Battle Ready. Jorje Slayer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goes lands a nice shot to the body.
Goes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slayer looks for a takedown but Goes sprawls well.
Slayer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Goes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Goes misses with a wild body shot.

Slayer shoots for a double leg takedown but Goes sprawls well. He's pushed Slayer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Slayer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Goes is looking for a sweep. Slayer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slayer is aware though and is defending well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slayer connects with a nice short shot to Goes's temple.

Slayer moves into full mount! Goes won't be happy about that!
Goes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slayer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slayer has control of Goes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Goes regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Slayer throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Goes because Slayer loaded up on that one.

Slayer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Goes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Slayer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Slayer tries a head kick but it misses.
Goes misses with a body shot.
Goes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Goes stuffs the takedown attempt from Slayer. Slayer gets slowly back to his feet.

Slayer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slayer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Goes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Slayer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Slayer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slayer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slayer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slayer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Goes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Goes slaps away a takedown attempt from Slayer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Goes cracks Slayer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Slayer dives in and grabs Goes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goes pushes down on Slayer's head and hops out.
Slayer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Goes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slayer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jorje Slayer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Slayer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slayer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Goes is really stuck here.
Goes is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Slayer off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Slayer has the hooks in. Goes is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Slayer passes his arm under Goes's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Goes taps!
