Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tobi Brasco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimbo Jones! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasco slips under a jab from Jones. Brasco ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Jones misses with a hook. Brasco ducked under it nicely. Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones throws a jab when Brasco was well out of range. Jimbo Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones misses with a hook. A big right from Jones misses. Brasco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Jones fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Brasco bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A swing and a miss from Jones. Jones looks to land a left hand but Brasco moved out of range nicely. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brasco slips under a jab. Jones swings for the body but Brasco moves out of range.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Brasco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brasco shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control! Brasco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brasco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brasco is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jones looks calm but he's in trouble here. Brasco gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jones is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Brasco lets go of the hold and Jones can pop his arm back in it's socket.
