Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prolly Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barkley has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Prolly Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Barkley! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Barkley is trying to defend but Rain finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Barkley looks gassed! Rain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Barkley sees it coming and defends easily. Rain wants to control but Barkley is keeping him busy. Rain is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Barkley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Rain winds up and cracks Barkley with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rain wants to take a breather but Barkley is having none of it. Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Barkley defends the submission attempt. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rain lands a nice short elbow. Rain looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barkley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rain slows the pace down in half guard. Rain has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barkley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rain. Rain scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rain slips a nice elbow through Barkley's hands, connecting with Barkley's forehead. Rain is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Rain winds up and cracks Barkley with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rain is nestled in close to Barkley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Barkley manages to get to full guard.

Barkley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rain is aware though and is defending well. Rain trying to control but Barkley is working from the bottom. Barkley looking for a sweep. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barkley circles away. Rain feints and as Barkley raises his hands in defense, Rain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rain controls from within his opponent's guard. Barkley trying to keep a closed guard but Rain is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain scoring with punches to the head and body. Barkley has momentary wrist control but Rain slips an elbow through the middle. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Barkley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barkley being controlled here, momentarily. Rain wants to control from the top but Barkley keeps moving. Barkley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rain gets the takedown into side control. Rain remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rain wants to control but Barkley is keeping him busy. Barkley takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Rain trying to control the action but Barkley is working from the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Prolly Rain just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Barkley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rain controlling from the top position. Prolly Rain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barkley is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain is working Barkley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rain scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rain cracks Barkley with a solid left hand. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Barkley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rain wants to control from the top but Barkley keeps moving. Rain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barkley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barkley circles away. Barkley slaps away a takedown attempt from Rain, before circling back to the center of the mat. Charles Barkley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barkley sprawls well initially but Rain persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Barkley looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Barkley defends the submission attempt. Barkley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rain lands a couple of decent looking shots. Barkley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rain wants to control from the top but Barkley keeps moving. Barkley is trying to control the position but Rain postures up. Rain lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prolly Rain dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rain is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Barkley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Barkley is squirming around, avoiding Rain's attempts to control the action. Barkley wants to control but Rain is having none of it. Rain looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Charles Barkley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A nice elbow there by Rain.
And that's the end of the fight! Prolly Rain showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rain, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
