Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Fuchs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chrath Sandzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuchs kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Fly me to the moon. Franz Fuchs has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandzer gets the takedown into side control.
Fuchs tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Fuchs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fuchs had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sandzer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fuchs Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sandzer's back instead.
Fuchs is breathing heavily.

Sandzer controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Sandzer looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Sandzer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fuchs kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Fuchs has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sandzer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Sandzer wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Fuchs is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Sandzer is tapping out! This one is all over!
